Sita began the pursuit of yoga as a spiritual journey in Argentina over 20 years ago. Through the yogic practice of meditation, bhakti yoga and karma yoga, she was inspired to travel around the world.
After living in India, studying and practicing meditation and yoga for long hours, she moved to LA in 1998. Sita volunteered at yoga studios in exchange of taking classes with the best teachers in the United States which brought extreme joy and transformation to her life.
She decided to take her first yoga teacher training out of the desire to teach others ways to be happy, healthy and at peace through the practice of yoga and meditation
She went to the Sivananda ashram farm in Grass Valley, where she was given the spiritual name SITA from Swami Sitaramananda.
SITA is the incarnation of Lakshmi the Hindu goddess of prosperity, generosity and the embodiment of grace and charm who chose to reincarnate Herself on earth as SITA and endure an arduous life in order to provide humankind with an example of good virtues.
She has also studied and been deeply influenced by the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Indra Devi, Shiva Rea, Max Strom, Denise Kaufman, John Friend, and especially by Saul David Raye whose classes she assisted for three years. Sita is eternally grateful to all of her teachers and the spiritual masters that she came across in her life, for all their love, their spiritual clarity to teach and their devotion to all.
Sita is also a certified massage therapist and Reiki master where she has the opportunity to give positive energy with a pure healing intention. Over ten years she has helped thousands of people to be more productive and energetic in their lives and to become more aware of the breath-body connection, making them feel more grounded and open in each session.

If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other. ~Mother Teresa
